End Time (Eschatology)

What time is it? 

In Genesis 1 God was declaring the end happening on time. 6 days of creation plus 1 day of rest is 7x days, 6x days for men 1x day for God.  Old Testament genealogy is 4000 years from Adam to Christ, 2000 years from Christ to now, 1000 years Millennium equals 7000 years.  One generation beginning in 1948 when Israel was restored to their land.  "Assuredly this generation will not pass away until everything is fulfilled."  A generation is 70 years according to Psalm 90 and by the Grace of God 80 years.  From 1948 until 2018 is 70 years, and if you add 10 years grace you get to 2028 but surely we don't know the time, only God the Father knows and is in charge of events. 1 Year for Jews is 360 days according to Lunar Calendar (not the Solar Calendar).  Only Father God knows the date and time, just get ready!   The pages of history regarding the future of this planet have already been written 2000 years ago given to the Apostle John on Island of Patmos in a revelation from an angel directly from Jesus Himself.  If you read the Book of Revelation you will know exactly what the world is going to be in the end times.

Revelation 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw."

America is defending Israel against the world right now and that is what the Bible depicts. It shows the Eagle watching over Israel and we will be doing that all the way till the end of the Great Tribulation with the Battle of Armageddon.  And that is going to bring favor from God upon America.  Revelation 12:14 But the woman (Israel) was given two wings of a great eagle (USA), that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent”.

Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet”. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences (pandemic), and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),”

We are currently living between verse 7 and verse 15

Acts 1:6  Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.  9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”    40x days after the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead He was taken up into heaven.  The apostles thought Jesus would return immediately.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night."

John 21:21 Peter said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man (John)?”22 Jesus said to him (Peter), “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”23 Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?”  Matthew 16:28 Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

Jesus asked Peter twice "do you love me?" John was the youngest of the apostles, Peter asked Jesus what about John?  Jesus didn't say that John was nog going to die.  This happened in 70AD and only 2 apostles were still alive and John being the youngest was the last to die.  They tried to kill John,  Revelation 1:9  I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,"   Jesus showed John the things to come during his exile on island Patmos, written in Revelation.  John lived long enough to see the Kingdom on island Patmos, he died 100AD.

2 Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away". The moral degeneration of mankind.

2 Peter 3:3  knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same Word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."  The mocking of end times to teaching by immoral people.

Isaiah 46:9  Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other;I am God, and there is none like Me,10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,"

Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28  Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”  Blood moons and solar eclipse, all weather starts in the ocean, i.e... tsunamis, hurricanes.

1 Corinthians 1:7  so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,"

Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,"

1 Thessalonians 1:10  and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come." 

Titus 2:13  looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,"

Hebrews 9:28  so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation."

James 5:7  Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!"

1 Peter 1:13  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" 

Revelation 3:1  Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown." 

Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”    12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.  17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come.  Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.   20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

The character of God is, He is just, fair, merciful and is revealed in the creation.  The heavens declare His Glory.

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.  
Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world."

The minute Adam and Eve sinned, they hid, Gen 3:15 plan of redemption offered immediately, seed of the woman.

Genesis 4: Adam knew his wife and she bore a son named Seth.  After his son Enoch men began to call upon the Name of the Lord.  We are all original designed to call upon the name of the Lord.  Genesis 5 - God took Enoch

Pascal once said "There is a God shaped whole in every person that only God can fill".  You can have all the money and fame in the world but if you don't have God in your heart you will never be fullfilled because you don't have His peace.  

Just repent and turn away from your wicked ways - you don't have to be perfect!  The message is so clear, God wants you to repent, to be forgiven and to have life in abundance!

THE BOOK OF REVELATION :

Written by apostle John 95-96AD before the end of the 1st Century, during his exile on the island of Patmos revealed with visions and symbols.  John was into sience and nr 7 was very important to him. The Gospel of John 1-12 is know as a book of Science, i.e miracles, healings, walking of water, etc. 7 signs and wonders showing that Jesus is the Messiah and that He is not a man.  Revelation is a revelation of Jesus and the unveiling of something hidden/apocalypse. Apocalypse in the Bible relates to prophets who saw future events.  (Paul's wirtings all dated to the latter part of the 1st Century and he also encourage them to stand fast.)  John survived on the island of Patmos for a reason, Matthew 16:28 where Jesus made a statement ... A thought was that a disciple as John would be alive when the Lord return.  Jesus knew that John would live long enough John 21:20-23 to see a vision of the time of the end.  John saw all came together, the prophecies in the Old Testament of the end.

Luke 21:25-26, Luke 21:11, 

Jesus compared His return to the days of Noah (water came from below under the earth in Genesis 7:11 and above) and of Lot.

A special blessing to its readers, Revelation 1:8 John was A witness/seen and the church is 19 x mentioned.  John see the gloriousness of Jesus.  Jesus Christ "who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood ... to Him be the glory ... He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him...".

Jesus Christ is in charge of the events to come. 

This is the only book out of the 66x Books of the Bible that has a special promise to its readers, a blessing that is promised to those who teach, study the Book of Revelation and you have to do it. Revelation is the only record of the end of the Story, the only Book that gives the full picture of the Grand Finale!  Every beginning has an end, when is the end?  Luke 21, Martthew 24 Jesus took the time and explain the things to come. Also no mentioning of the destruction of the First Temple, the Book of Revelation was written long after that.

Revelation is back to the future, we don't but God knows the end from the beginning.  God shared with us what will happen, He knows. Things that we are going to see from here and also later from above.  The Words of this Book are meant to not only be read but implemented!  This book is a source of many blessings and to encourage us.  To God a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day like 2 Peter 3 says.  God is not late but longsuffering, giving us more time to repent. 

What time is near?  Judgement time!  Judgement is already known from the Book of Job, earliest Book written all the way Genesis to Revelation - judgement is coming and it is near.  God is a righteous Judge.  The Restrainer is being removed and the wrath is being poured over this ungodly world!  The essence of the Book of Revelation is to tell the story.  The Book is they and us, for us to know and to understand and that He knows it is going to get worse.

A promise from God in Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy..."

  • He is risen as promised!
  • He will return to take us as promised!
  • He will return to Jerusalem with us as promised!
  • He will reign over the world as promised!
  • He will judge the world as promised!

Revelation 1:  

Revelation 1 is a look behind the curtain, we get a glimpse of who is truly in charge of word events, Jesus Christ!

Revelation 1:1  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,

Revelation 1:2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End" says the Lord "who is and who was and who is to come the Almighty".  

John 11:25-27  At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.  Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.  "All things have been committed to me by my Father.  No one knows the Son except the Father, No one knows the Son except the Father, and those to who the Son chooses to reveal him."

A look behind the curtain, we get a glimpse of who is truly in charge of world events, Jesus Christ! The Alpha and the Omega!

Just receive Jesus and invite Him in your heart.

Revelation 2: 

Jesus sends messages to the first four churches to get their house in order, a lot of household issues there.  Describing even the state of the churches of today.

Empesus = Lost Love,

Smyrna = reminds them that He is greater than suffering and even death, the attractiveness of suffering,

Pergamum = Defending Truth in a culture of lies,

Thyatira = findin a moral compass,

The present, we are still on earth.  Jesus stand at the door and knock Revelation 3:20 Things written to the 7 churches (church is believers), message to all of us.  Church is mentioned 19 x but from Revelation 4 onwards no mentioning about the Church (gone with the Rapture). 

Revelation 3 :

Sardis = reviving a dead church, not wicked or emoral but unresponsive to Christ, we should not follow rituals

Philadelphia = finding us faithful, a church that spread the Gospel, like us nowadays with the internet

Laodicea = the church that makes Jesus sick, a picture of so many churches today luke warm

Revelation 4 : 

When the sky up the sound of the trumphet, already know it from 1 Cor 14, 1 Thes 4 that something amazing is going to happen. The Rapture.  A journey to Heaven : John was caught up/raptured into heaven to learn and write things about what was, what is, and what is going to take place.  Interesting, up onto Revelation 3 we here about the Church here on earth and what God has to say to those Churches.  From Revelation 4 to almost Revelation 20 the Church is not on earth and will not be part of the upcoming events.  This is very important, that is why we believe the Rapture will take place before the Tribulation.

Revelation 5 : 

Now John is in Heaven and everything is new to him, he sees the angels and the Scroll and no-one can open the Scroll.  Only the Lion of Judah and the Lamb that was slain have the authority to open the seven seals and bring judgement on earth.  Having the Blood of Jesus on post of our hearts the judging is passing over us.

Revelation 6  : 

The beginning of troubles.  God begins His judgement by opening the seven seals of the Scroll one at a time.  Disasters. The 7-year Tribulation. Peace is taking from the earth.  Revelation 6:9, 16.  Revelation 6 - latter verses ... hid us from the wrath ...

Two people speak/testimony of Jesus by the Holy Spirit.  Prophets who are moved by the the Holy Spirit and communicate that what God wants them to know.  God chose not to tell us their names, revealed they have supernatural powers. 

Two Witnesses will be either Moses and Elijah  or  Enoch and Elijah :

  • Moses:  Exodus 7:17, 2 Kings 1:16-17 and 1 Kings 1:17 - many miracles
  • Elijah:  because of all the miracle performed in the Old Testament, 2 Kings 1:16-17 and 1 Kings 1:17, fire from heaven 1 Kings 18, James 5:17, 2 Kings 2:11
  • Enoch:  walked with God and God took him, he never died, Genesis 5:21-24, Hebrews 11:5
  • Old Testament Jewish tradition are expecting Moses and Elijah to return in the future to earth.  
  • Malachi 4: 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
  • Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus at the Transfiguration on the Mount,  Matthew 17:3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
  • Moses and Elijah both left the world in an unusual way :
  • Elijah in 2 Kings 2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.  12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.
  • The Lord Himself buried Moses and no-one knows his grave to this day.  Deuteronomy 34:5  So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day. 7 Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died."   Michael the Archangel disputed with Satan about the body of Moses in Jude 9  Yet Michael the archangel, in contenting with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Revelation 7 : 

God by His Grace, the Tribulation evangelists, 144 000 Jewish Billy Graham evangelists call people to repentance during Tribulation period, resulting in a greate multitude of Jews with a new name : Tribulation Saints (that's not the Church)

Revelation 8 : 

Ecological disasters, as the first four trumpets sound, God creates an ecological disaster.  Tremendous misery on unbelievers on earth. A massive volcano will erupt causing a great tsunami (like Pompei in Italy bodies covered with ashes). The sun will be darkened by the ashes.  Matthew 24:29  “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. astriods  Revelation 8:10-11 - wormwood/asteriod, the water will become bitter.

Revelation 9 : 

A Human Holocaust, when the last three Trumpets sound God spares the ecology but brings tremendous misery on the wicked unbelieving population on the earth.  Revelation 9:20,  they know it is the wrath of God but still refuses to turn to Him.

Revelation 10 :

John takes a little scroll and eats it.  The scroll is sweet as honey in his mouth, but sour in his stomach as a sign of the judgements to come.  John can't really enjoys it when he knows what is coming.

Revelation 11 :

Jerusalem's preachers and earthqueakes.  Jerusalem hears from Two Witnesses with miraculous powers.  The mass population wants them dead and God permits the beast from the abyss to kill them.  After 3x days they are raised from the dead and when they ascend into heaven, just like Jesus,  a 10th of the City is destroyed by a massive earthquake.  Sharing Temple Mount for 312 years, Jews and Muslims  - 2 Thessalonians 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

Revelation 12 :

God did not forget what He is going to do with Israel.  Israel, the Nation that would not die.  John sees a woman, a child, and a dragon. The dragon, Satan, attempts to devour the child, Jesus, whos is "snatched up" to heaven, while the woman, Israel, is protected is in the desert, a spesific desert,  for 312 years,  the latter part of the Tribulation.  They realised they have been deceived and hid.  Daniel 9, 11, 12,  anti-Christ confirms a covenant with Israel for 7x years but then he will break it after 312 years. Revelation 12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman (Israel) who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle (USA), that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent."  Israel will be protected by the USA, and favor from God.

Revelation 13 :

Two beasts emerge on the scene.  One comes from the sea and the other from the earth, The first is the anti-Christ and the second the False Prophet, but in reality they are anti-Christ one and two.  Until the one comes from the sea there is the one that already exists on earth.  One World Religion Leader, guess it will be the Pope or other religious leader, he will prepare the way for the emerging political leader that will emerge from a great catastrophe.  You can't buy or cell.  Revelation 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns (Nation Union from Europe??), and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard (Germany), his feet were like the feet of a bear (Russia), and his mouth like the mouth of a lion (UK). The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 

Revelation 14 :

Right after that the 144 000 Jewish evangelists appear once again.  Only this time they are presented as the "first fruits" to God, which means that there will be an evangelism explosion during the Tribulation, resulting in many Tribulation saints, many of whom will be martyred/beheaded.  It will almost impossible to be a believer.

Revelation 15 :

This is a pause that refreshes.  This chapter provides a reprise of worship from all the judgements that came and are to come.

Revelation 16 :

This chapter speaks of the most saddest and tradigic chapter.  The Road to Armageddon.  The final set of judgements (Bowl of Judgments) are released to devastate the earth's ecology and mankind's physical bodies.  The 6th Bowl judgement calls for the kings of the world to battle against Jerusalem, this is where the term Armageddon is mentioned for the 1st and the only time in the entire New Testament.  But before that there are plagues coming upon the world and people know that God is responsible for it and has the power to stop it but they still will not give Him glory but actually blasphemed Him.  There will be such a spiritual blindness and Satanic brainwash that thy will not be able to repent.  They meet in the Valley of Jezreel and march up to Jerusalem for the Battle of Armageddon.

You see it starts with Seals (Rev 6 False Prophet & anti-Christ), then Trumphets (Rev 8, 9, 11 1 destroyed, demonic locusts, fire & brimstone 1people are killed), then Bowls (Rev 15, 16 all sealife destroyed, all water poisen, scorging sun, curses God, worldwide earthquake and huge hailstorms).  Revelation 16:9, 11 people will blaspheme the Name of the Lord, people get so hard-heardened.

Revelation 17 :

The World Religioun System that formerly controlled the political and economic world collapses under the domination of the world powers. 

Revelation 18 :

Bankrupcy of the World Economy.  God will destroy the political and economic systems in one hour.  Now we only see a fore taste...

Revelation 19 :

Foreclosure of Planet Earth.  The Lord Jesus returns and forecloses on Planet Earth.  No longer do the kings of the earth have power, for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has arrived.

Revelation 20 :

Planet Earth under new Management, The Millennium.  For a 1000 year period (The Millennial Kingdom) will begin once Satan is thrown down in bottomless pit, earth will be under new Management, but at the end of that time, Satan, who had been bound is now let loose to deceive the nations once again.

Revelation 21 : 

Back to the drawing board, The New Heaven and New Earth.  Recognizing that the old heaven and earth was defiled beyond being salvable.  God designs and then creates a new Heaven, a new Earth and a new Jerusalem. (see New Heaven and New Earth below)

Revelation 22 :
The last chapter reflects back on the Lord's promise to return for His own.  The hope of the believer!

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches (believers). I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

17 And the Spirit and the bride (we) say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

John 3:16-21 :

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

We are citizens of Heaven and a resident of Earth. 

Faith in God is not something that's forced on you - it is your choice.  True faith is not merely giving yourself to religious laws or ancient story tales.  True faith is an essential God-given practical instrument in your toolbox of life.  It helps us to focus on what's really important.  Calling on God, if God is your final answer - your survival and well-being depends on Him.  2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith

Revelation 22 : 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”  Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

We are now, 2020, between Matthew 24:7-15...

 

1. THE RAPTURE (Latin word means caught up in the air)

Be ready because at the Rapture one is going to be taken and the other is going to be left. John 3: 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. "

The Rapture, 1 Corinthians 15, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   We will meet Him in the air and so shall be with the Lord forever.

The Rapture is hidden, people around us won't see it happening, we will be gone instantly in the twinkling of an eye.  We will be translated into eternity with our new body - our earthly body cannot enter Heaven.  Our hope is Jesus Christ is coming for the Church. Keep your hope that God is never going to break His Word, He will keep it.  Man can live 40 days without food, 3 days without water, 6-7 minutes without air but you cannot live 1 second without Hope! Every believer is instantaneously caught up to meet Christ in the air.  We will be changed into eternity with our new body - our earthly body cannot enter Heaven.  There will be no believers left on earth.

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 

1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him."  Speaking of that we're not destined to the wrath of God

Revelation 3:10Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

1 Thes 1:10and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. delivers us from the wrath to come."  Daniel speaks of the it.  God always releases grace before wrath.

Zacharahia 12-14 you will find the words, "in that day" repeated 16x over and over again, referring to the great Tribulation period and there is no mentioning of the Church either, God is dealing directly with those who have gathered themselves against Israel.  Chapter 14, God declares "I will fight against those who fought against Jerusalem" the way I fight. If you read Exodus the 10 plagues of Egypt, you get a good clue how God fights and nobody can stand against Him.  The character of God didn't change, if you trusting in Him Who is declared righteous through His faith in God.  He took Noah up before the flood, like we are today building our "ark".  Matt 24.

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."   The dead in Christ rise first, bodily resurrection the us as believers. 

The Rapture is not a theory but a sound doctrine, it is different than the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when everyone will see it happening, 

Revelation 1: 7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

If you're saved, washed in the Blood of Jesus, have the Holy Spirit lives in you - don't be afraid!  The Rapture - Jesus Christ is coming for His church to meet them in the air and the Second Coming is coming with His Church. The doctrine of imminence is that Jesus could come "at any moment" meaning there are NO signs to occur, NO prophecies to be fulfilled before Jesus returns for the Rapture of the church, it could happen any moment!  The Rapture is an escape before hell breaks out on earth. Noah escaped the Flood Hebrews 11: and Lot escaped Sodom and Gomorrah Genesis 18: 18-20.  Jesus said it will be the same.  The Rapture is the escape for believers, we should encourage each other. We will not be able to comprehend the beauty of Heaven and everybody will be happy and no more pain and tears.

It is your free will where you spend Eternity - it's your choice and how you will spend eternity - your belief determines where you will spend eternity. By Grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourself, it's a gift of God.

Paul believed The Rapture could happen in his time and that's the way we should live to day - convinced/hoping/praying/longing for it to happen in your life time - don't be like the Virgins who were not ready when the Bridegroom arrived.

Paul wrote in :

Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first."

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.  15 For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words."

The dead in Christ will rise first, dead's spirit is already with the Lord but their bodies will be changed at the Rapture.  1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." The dead in Christ rise first, bodily resurrection the us as believers.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure."  = Hope in Him purifies us.  The Trumpet of God call for the Church those already saved.  [Second Coming of Jesus  Matthew 24:31And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   = The Trumpet of God is the Rapture and the Trumpet of Angels is the Second Coming of Jesus, concerning the Jews.]

A Jewish bridegroom comes as a thief in the night and take his bride away - only his father knows the time.  The same with the Rapture, only God knows the time.

The world will celebrate that we're gone and the anti-Christ will show his face, and he will rule everybody.

The Rapture must happen before the 7 year Tribulation - nothing to fear - the Rapture is the escape.   1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape."

Pre-Tribulation Rapture in Old Testament :

  • Joseph is a picture of the Rapture, he takes a Gentile wife before the 7 year famine
  • Noah escaped the Flood and was saved
  • Enoch was raptured before the Flood - a picture of the Church
  • Daniel is taken up pre-furnace - picture of the Church.  His 3 friends didn't bow down, furnace was 7 times hotter = a picture of Israel in the 7 year Tribulation and then saved.  4th Person in furnace was Jesus 

Once the Rapture of the Church happens the 7-year clock will start to tick.  

 

2.  7 YEAR TRIBULATION :

The Church will be taken out of the earth with The Rapture, and not through the Tribulation.  The Tribulation will be eventually for Israel’s salvation. Only through the Tribulation Israel will except Jesus as the Messiah. The magnitude of the things that are about to happen when God is about to judge it will affect the whole world – you do not want to be here when it happens.  Hosea 5: 15 I will return again to My place till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

Isaiah 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, (Jews)“And My servant whom I have chosen,That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses (disciples) to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

When the Church is gone there are no more witnesses, Israel is blind to think the Temple is their solution, they cannot witness so God is sending 144 000 Jews to preach the Gospel to the Jews.  God wants His nation to repent.

MARK OF THE BEAST :
Revelation 13:7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

Revelation 16:2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a [foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image."

Revelation 6-9

There is going to be a World leader going to feel more powerful and worthy and he wants to be called God and to be worshipped in the Third Temple of God = the anti-Christ and he will be revealed after the Rapture and will make a 7 year Peace Agreement with Israel.  This is the beginning of the last 7 years of human history according to Daniel 9.  Wrath of God

The first 312 years of the 7 year Tribulation will be peaceful but the last 312 years His wrath will be poured out on unbelievers.  The rebuild of the Third Temple will happen at the beginning of the Tribulation 7 years. Israel is today already ready to re-build and complete the Temple in 90 x days.

Then the anti-Christ will allow the Jews to worship and sacrifice offers in the third Temple in the beginning of the 7 years but at the mid-point after 312 years he will stop it.  He will then demand that he himself is God and he should be worshipped in the Temple.  2 Thessalonians 2:3  Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

Revelation 13:

Then the anti-Christ will tell the Jews that he is God, the Jewish people will flee but god will protect and preserve them because He loves them.   Sad to say that the Jews will only listen and repent once the Two Witnesses will be resurrected and raptured and earthquake with 7000 deaths - then they will give glory to God and will flee to a place God prepared for them for 1260 days.  Revelation 12. But God will prepare a place for them for 1260 days = 312 Biblical years, He speaks to Jews in days and to Gentiles in months (42) until Jesus comes back and rule over them once they accept Him as their Messiah.  In 1960 Christians buried thousands of New Testament Bibles, written in Hebrews, somewhere in Petra, Jordan...

Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week  He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.  And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,  Even until the consummation, which is determined,  Is poured out on the desolate.”

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the Tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." 

The Jews will repent and all will be saved. They will see Jesus and the Church are coming back descending and they will cry and repent.   

Zachariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;The city shall be taken,The houses rifled,And the women ravished.Half of the city shall go into captivity,But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then the Lord will go forthAnd fight against those nations,As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,Which faces Jerusalem on the east.And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,From east to west,Making a very large valley;Half of the mountain shall move toward the northAnd half of it toward the south.

5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquakeIn the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.

6 It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light The lights will diminish.
7 It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord— Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.

8 And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.
9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be—“The Lord is one,” And His name one.

10 All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

11 The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

13 It shall come to pass in that day That a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, And raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.

15 Such also shall be the plague On the horse and the mule, On the camel and the donkey, And on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be. 

16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

20 In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

Romans 11:1say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, 3 “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? 4 But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. 7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 Just as it is written:

“God has given them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes that they should not see
And ears that they should not hear,
To this very day.”

9 And David says:

“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
A stumbling block and a recompense to them.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see,
And bow down their back always.”

11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?16 For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,When I take away their sins.”28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. 29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30 For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, 31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?  Or who has become His counselor?” 35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?” 36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen."

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming (2nd coming with the church not the Rapture) of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin (anti-Christ) is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,"  No Temple yet, to be build on Temple Mount.  Jews and Muslims will share the Temple Mount ??

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!"    All the evil politicians/ Soros/ Rothchilds /all the mighty evil men will hid themselves.

Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:..."  144 000 Jewish Evangelists will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Gospel begins and ends with the Jews.

Revelation 9:15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them."   An Army of 200 million from the East, when Paul wrote this 200 years ago there were not that many people on earth, but today.  

Worldwide Satellite Television Technology - Revelation 11:3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. 7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth."

The two Witnesses could be Moses and Elijah (or Enoch and Elijah) it is not clear to us. They will do signs and wonders and will be the anti-Christ's worst nightmare and will be the most hated people and will eventually killed by the anti-Christ.

Revelation 14  if you take the mark of the beast you can't be saved.  The mark of the beast will also be an agreement with the anti-Christ's beliefs, un-Biblical beliefs.

Revelation 16:12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.  When the Bible refers to east/west/north/south of Jerusalem (Jerusalem is the key) .  East of Jerusalem is India and China with 2 Billion people.  The world will blame the the anti-Christ for the disaster in the world, the War of Armageddon in the last 312 years fo the Tribulation. 

Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon."

Armageddon or also called the Plain of Megiddo. The Satanic trinity is the dragon = satan + the beast = anti-Christ  + the false prophet = anti-Christ lieutenant.

The final war, Armageddon will end the Tribulation in Jerusalem.  Valley is 1502 miles,  for many generations, the concept of Armageddeon was the basis and motivating factor for many scientific discoveries, which included academic, social and theological research. Megiddo is mentioned 12 x times in the Old Testament and only once in the New Testament.  Armageddon is the Greek for the Hebrew, Har Megiddo, the Mount of Megiddo, not a natural hill but a pile of debris of at least 20 different cities that were built and destroyed, and rebuilt and destroyed.  Napoleon visited this valley in 1799, he looked down and said, "this is the most perfect place to gather armies from all over the world".  It is a vast valley.  The only place where Armageddon appears in the Bible is in Revelation 16 "and they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon", this is just the gathering place.  The final and most existential battle of Israel is the battle about its heart and not the actual site of Armageddon.  In the past there were so many battles in the valley of Armageddon but the future is about Jerusalem.  The battle will be in Jerusalem and the mourning in Jerusalem will remind people of the mourning and the crying that used to be right here.  The Book of Joel says "I will gather together all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat.  And then I will enter into judgement with them there.  Let the nations be aroused and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.  For there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side". The Valley of Jehoshaphat is today's Kidron Valley. The meaning of Jehoshaphat is "God will judge".

Suddenly the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."

The purpose of the Tribulation is for the salvation of the Jews, to give Jewish unbelievers and unbelievers an opportunity to be saved. (Trumpet of Angels is the Second Coming of Jesus, concerning the Jews.) 

Matthew 24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.)

 

SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST:

Revelation 19-20 The Church will return with Jesus after the 7 Year of Wedding celebration for the 2nd Coming.   Jesus is coming back to put an end to all of the ungodly practices. Every eye will see Him.

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [d]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”     (Verse 15-29 is The Great Tribulation.)

The timing of the Second Coming:  Matthew 24:32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” 

2 Specific signs that are one-time occurrences: if we see this then we know we are that generation.  Matthew 24: :15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),  “abomination of desolation” standing in the Holy Place and is going to take place on the Temple Mount, also in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition (anti-Christ will rise), 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped (that is the abomination of desolation), so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”  This will happen 31/2 years before the Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming.  The generation that sees the abomination of desolation shall not pass.

Matthew 24:16 “then let those who are in Judea (West Bank, area between Jordan River and Jerusalem) flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”  Here Jesus prophesied the Great Tribulation

Matthew 24: 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [f]heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken (at the Rapture) and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken (at the Rapture) and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what [g]hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

At the Second Coming unbelievers will be removed from earth by God as an act of judgment and not of deliverance.  Jesus is coming is coming back to war, the First Coming in Jerusalem on a donkey was to save and not to condemn.  The Jews are waiting for the Messiah that will come and destroy their enemies and to establish His Kingdom in Jerusalem - they completely ignore the part that He came and died for their sins.

Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven (we believers), clothed in fine linen (angels don't need to wear linen), white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh." 

2 Timothy 2:11 This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him,  We shall also live with Him.  12 If we endure,  We shall also reign with Him.  If we deny Him, He also will deny us.   13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful;  He cannot deny Himself."   We shall reign with Him when we come back with Him to rule on earth for 1000 years (different time, 1 day is 1000 years).  

Jude 15:15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” 16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;   We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.    12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death,  And He was numbered with the transgressors,  And He bore the sin of many,  And made intercession for the transgressors.

 

SATAN BOUND FOR 1000 YEARS:

Revelation 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

 

THE MILLENNIUM, The saints reign with Christ for 1000 years:

Revelation 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

 

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT:

This event is for all unbelievers, if your name is not written in the Book of Life you will go to heaven only by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Every person’s name is written in the Book of Life but at the End those who didn’t accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior – their names will be removed from the Book.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

 

THE HELL

The Bible confirms that there is a Hell.  Hell is not an imagination to scare people, it exists.  The breath of God, our spirit is eternal - either in heaven or hell.  Your eternal spirit without Jesus is under death penalty.  Revelation 1:18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”  Just receive Jesus and invite Him in your heart.  Satan blinds your spirituality.

Satan, the prince of darkness, is loose to keep you away from God.  Ephesians 2: 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience”

Isaiah 64: 6 But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags”. No good deeds can bring you Salvation, only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 

Revelation 21: 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”  Jesus died to give you eternal life, it is a gift.

Heaven is mentioned 582 x in the Bible:

Romans 14:17 follow through at death two angels will come and release your spirit out of your body and take it to live in the 3rd Heaven to Paradise where it will await the resurrection of the dead in Christ at the Rapture 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words."

Hell is mentioned 54 x, down/beneath/under the crust of the earth:

  • Matthew 25: 41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels”
  • Revelation 12: 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought”  (Lucifer rebelled against God.)
  • Luke 10: 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven”. (Hell was prepared for them.)
  • 2 Peter 2: 4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
  • Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
  • Proverbs 7: 27 Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death”. 
  • Psalm 55:15  Let death seize them; Let them go down alive into hell,  For wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.”

 

 

THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH:  Revelation 21-22

Jesus said, “I am going to prepare a place for you” – Heaven is a real place.  1st Heaven is the atmosphere where we fly airplanes. 2nd Heaven is celestial heaven where the stars, moon and sun are.  Paul was caught up to the 3rd Heaven where God is.  Ephesians said, “He has ascended to us” and in the Gospels “Jesus came down”, so Heaven is up.

When you die before the Rapture, the Bible says to be “absent from the body, present with the Lord”.  When you die, your body, the house you lived in, goes into the grave, and your soul and spirit go to be with God.  And in the resurrection, they will come together again.

We will be changed at the Rapture, those who died in Christ will be changed first, Paul wrote to the Thessalonians “those who are asleep, we shall not proceed them”.

Paul told us in that those who are alive and remain will also get the change on our way up and all together will be ushered up into ultimate Heaven.  What will we be doing in Heaven for millions of years?, God are creating a place where incredible worship is going to take place, we will serve God, we will have assignments to rule and reign just like in the Millennium and we will never be tired.  We know that we will recognize each other, when Jesus came out of the grave Mary recognize Him.  We will remember people and also be known by them and we will know them as never before.

If you believe that a child becomes a person the moment of conception and if that child dies before born on earth they will be covered under the Blood of Christ and will be in Heaven.

There will be an Award Ceremony in Heaven and the awards will be casting at the feet of Jesus.

We will have better bodies and better awareness.  The New City is 1500 miles wide, 1500 miles long and 1500 miles high with many levels (1500 story fit 1 mile high).  When Jesus came out of the grave in His glorified body, He was able to move through doors, in one place and then in another place He suddenly appeared.  We don’t know how it is going to work.  When we see Jesus in Heaven, we will be able to see the scars in His hands and His feet, that will be the only scars in Heaven.  We will worship Him.

Christians’ names cannot be erased from the Lambs’ Book of Life.  When you commit your life to Jesus, He says “I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish”. 

Immediately after the Millennial Period, after Christ's reign on this earth 2 Peter 3:12 ... the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? "  

What does it mean 'heavens and earth pass away?'  2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

"...burned up" in the early Greek manuscripts, see NIV also, it translates that phrase as "laid bare" being uncovered or laid open for exposure.  In other words, Peter is not talking about destroying the earth but rather about purifying the earth.  New in the sense of being fresh/purified from all the old corruption.  Henry Morris says, in OT and NT the words for "new" could be a "fresh and new" again heaven

2 Peter 3:5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

The Flood cleansed and purified the Earth.  The fire will have a much more purifying affect upon the world than water did but it will not destroy the world.  Just as Noah and his family were protected in the Ark, God's people will be protected in the New Jerusalem which is not on the Earth yet but hovering above the Earth.  We have the promise and purification of a New Heaven and New Earth.  Still the same Heaven and Earth but it is "fresh", all the sin stains, death, signs of disease - what will the world be like then?

Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea."  Remember in the New Jerusalem flowing down from the Throne of God there is a river that runs throughout the world.  More beautiful than you could ever imagine, trees along with different fruits and leaves. fresh water not salt (salt is a preservative so dicey will not take place - in the New Earth there will not be decay and need for salt).

Revelation 22 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him."  What is the curse? In the Garden of Eden because men violated God's commands God cursed the Earth, the curse of death and decay because of sin:

Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”

In the New Heaven and New Earth, the curse will be reversed, God sent His Son to redeem that creation from the results of sin.  God will redeem this entire creation from the effects of sin.

Ephesians 1:10 that in the dispensation of the fullness [end of time] of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him."  God's aim is to bring all in heaven and on earth together under one head Christ.  The wall that separates Heaven and Earth will be forever demolished, there will be one universe under the Lord Jesus Christ forever and ever.  No gulf between spiritual and physical worlds.

We have a command in Genesis to care for this world.  John tells us not to love the world, this means not to love the world system.  A new appreciating for this world, our attitude toward this world is wrong, God created this in the beginning, and we messed it up for Him.  One day He is coming back and is going to fix everything that has been messed up and we shall live and reign with Him forever and ever.  It will be beyond comparison, laughter without tears, life without death, singing no mourning. Our Savior Lord Jesus Christ and our loving Heavenly Father and the blessed Holy Spirit will be there, a New Heaven and New Earth, the New Jerusalem.

The only way to get there is through His Son Jesus "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life"  John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."  Made your peace with God through Jesus Christ, ask Him to be your Savior and Lord and He will do it, right now and right where you are!
